Monic Sjöö Exhibitions
Monica began solo exhibiting in the 1960's but after being threatened with prosecution for blasphemy and obscenity when she showed 'God Giving Birth' in St Ives in 1971, she determined to exhibit with other women artists whenever she could.
She participated in 30 solo and collective exhibitions internationally over
her lifetime.
Since her death her work has been in 3 further exhibitions.
Monica's paintings have been used to illustrate the front covers of 9 books including 2 of her own. Many of her images have illustrated numerous books, magazines, journals, articles posters and audio cassettes all over the world.
